I'm sorry you're having this experience. We do have STAR case S1508000292 on file for 2010 Journeys, so your dealership should be able to look that up and see if it applies to your vehicle. It involves inspecting the horn switch, pad, and wiring harness. If you need help making an appointment, please let me know.

Attn: Dodge Cares,
Thank you for creating a STAR case for this however this is of NO help to anyone because all the dealership says is, "Yep, your car is part of this." Ps, Dodge does not cover this because it's not considered a safety hazard therefore it's thousands of dollars out of pocket. Has anyone started a class action law suit about this yet? I'm not one for law suits but this is ridiculous considering how many are just on this one forum that Dodge hasn't come forward to take care of this issue yet. WTF?

I to have the same problem as all the other people in this forum. We need a solution now. I have done basically what all the other people in this forum have done, and still no satisfaction. Default 2010 Dodge Journey Horn Honks intermittently I

I'm very disturbed to find out that this issue affects multiple dodge journey owners. Had I read this in advance, I would not have purchased the car 1 1/2 year ago.
Today was the first day the intermittent honking began. I was very embarrassed and tried to let the person in front of me know that my car was having an issue. I'm not going to pay any exorbitant amount of money to fix it. I'll remove the fuses and begin a search for some type of
portable horn to carry in the car.
My next car will be a Toyota.

Yep, pretty sad deal a horn goes off the deep end in the middle of the evening while parked in the driveway, alerting the whole neighborhood that you have a Dodge Journey. This happened to me 2 nights ago. .
WTH?
It's a 2010 RT...….... ONLY 8 years old...…….. Not good!!!!!!. Kinda' reminds me of the old GM steering wheel rim horn sticking.

BTW, my '69 Barracuda horn has never been a problem and I've had it for 38 years.
