Default Sunroof Leak

Just bought a new (to me) used 2014 Journey Limited with sunroof.

I have noticed that the seals seem to leak. Can Dodge fix this under warranty? How many people have this issue?

Where does it leak?
Under what circumstances does it leak( i.e.car wash)?
Checked the drain holes in the channel surrounding the sunroof?

The leak happens on the passenger side back corner of the sunroof itself, via the seal.
I leaks, ALOT (more than one drip per second) when you simply poor water from a water bottle onto the roof.
I have a very good video of it but don't know how to post it to show you all.
I took it to the dealer (South Oakville FYI) and showed them the video that I took and they told me that leaking is NORMAL and is designed to happen like that!

No way that is normal, not at all. I need to escalate this but do not know where to go next.

Drain holes are fine, blown clean, etc....it has nothing to do with that, and everything to do with the seal not being tight. In a couple weeks with the rain it will be worse.

They are NOT designed to leak - pure bs !
There have been some posts on the net covering this
problem and if the 4 drains are clear as you say then the
gasket assembly has to be replaced.
Try another dealer and open a complaint file with Chrysler
customer service.

Exactly what I figured. And unfortunately I have no garage to park in and it's supposed to rain for the next two days....so we'll see what happens, but based on my water test....not good.

Flet,

I'm sorry to hear about your leak concern. The FCA Canada basic warranty is 3 years or 60,000km. This would cover manufacturing defect.

As mentioned, it would be wise to contact your dealer again. Be sure to speak with the Service Manager.

I have been twice to no avail and showed the video. So from that point of view what is the next steps? Also. What is FCA?
