I parked the car at 10 p.m. it was 35 degrees outside last night I got back in the truck five minutes to 6 this morning soon as I started the truck up the transmission fluid read 56 degrees but it's 35 or 34 degrees outside it's been doing this along with other things since about 500 miles

Shouldn't the temp be at 0 like the oil and coolant?

Hi Christopher,

Has your dealership addressed this for you? I would recommend trying to set up an appointment when you are able to leave the vehicle over night, so the dealership can experience the concern with a cold start.

If you are concerned, take it in. Could be the scale is different and it won't read anything below 50. If there are no driveability issues, I wouldn't worry about it.

Dropped it off they kept it for a week and said the vibration I was feeling was the transmission downshifting ...and these new trucks run high
