ODB II Tools
Hi there. I did a search for ODB II diagnostic tools and didn't find any. Would it be possible perhaps to create a sticky with the best ODB II scanners and tools? I'm looking to get the bluetooth adapter and I'm not sure if this will be worth it or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

have not found a phone linked scanner that is any good
for under $100 you could get a launch c-readervi. i have one. Its fast, operates all 10 modes of obd2, free for life updates
-reads clears codes- powertrain only
-live data stream
-graphs data
-clears dtc
-freeze frame data
-i/m monitor status

$100 dollars in my country isn't cheap. Besides. Scanners are hard to come by here. So I hope I can make some headway. Dealers will charge ridiculous amounts to read the codes. Then supply you with reasons why they need to replace half your car.
I've just had the ignition module factory recall done. At least that was free.

history or current codes? if you unplugged the tps connector with the key in run the p0123 dtc with set. if they are not active dtc, clear them and set what resets. its not logical to have both codes at the same time as one is for an open circuit and one is for a shorted circuit. the fault could be a wiring, pcm or tps fault so test the wiring first, if its ok, replace the tps, if the fault is still present, replace the pcm.

Thanks @primem I will do that and post my findings.
The weirdest part of this is that the car is running just fine. Good throttle response etc. I had the throttle control light on the dash a few nights ago but it never happened again. And then the ecm light seems to switch off after every 3rd or 4th start and then comes back on while I'm driving with no effect on the vehicle. Possible signs of a failing tps?
