Smile 2016 Dodge Journey ABS/Traction Light

Hello there, I have a 2016 Dodge Journey with about 36,000 miles on it. The other day my ABS light and Traction control light came on at the same time.
The traction button is not able to turn on or off and the cruise control button no long works.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do, or have had the same issues.

Thanks

You can inspect the wheel sensors to see if there is anything (dirt, mud, snow, etc) interfering with the operation. Otherwise, you will need to find out what the codes are to isolate the issue. Dealer or a shop has the proper scan tool to read ABS codes. Or, I believe you can buy code readers for ABS now. Also, make sure your tires are the same size and properly inflated.

What kind of scanner are you using? The wheel sensors are on the wheel hubs.

If you read the reviews on that scanner, people complain that one won’t read abs codes. If your light is on, there is a code. That scanner just might not be able to read it.

Default ABS light 2016 Journey

The light came on and I went to a dealership and had it repaired. It was a brake sensor. Now it’s on again. Started flickering and has been pretty consistent. Trouble braking while it’s on. Wondering if there’s a recall.
