dealership tells me to buy a new radio. My radio had been replace 7 times for static issues since the day I drove it off the lot. In my hands-free has never worked

 

if updates don't work...you need a radio

 

That’s what they are telling me. But they also told me that there was no up date and I found right on Chrysler’s site the up date and. Downloaded it. The reason the maps is not unlocked it bc my sd card slot is empty and that’s what holds the maps.

where did you get that info? I'm pretty sure the sd slot is for media ie music/pics not navigation. If i'm wrong please correct me or link the information where you found this.

explain to me what you did to upload the nav update to the telematics module?

 

did they tell you there are no updates to flash the telematics module...this is not a map update.

 

I don’t know all they had said was that there was no updates available for the radio or GPS. Chrysler website and type in your van number it shows you there’s updates for both GPS and radio

not true. maps arent stored on the sd card. theyre stored internally.
