Default Pics of Magnaflows and tips

I installed Magnaflows and 3.5" tips (and removed the resonators) a couple weeks ago and have been so enamored with the sound that I'm just now getting around to posting the pics.
Here they are!

I love Magnaflow too, flowmaster is OK but it has baffles, Magnaflow is a straight through design, no restriction whatsoever while having less resonance that flowmaster.
What you did is excatly what I will do myself. as for the resonators, hey, who needs them.

Any parts number you can provide? I see their website lists #15628 but states it's not available. I haven't tried called the local distributor.

This isn't a cat-back system. I just had 2.25" Magnaflows (offset in/center out) welded in in place of the suitcase muffler, then the resonators behind the rear bumper cut out. I couldn't wait for Magnaflow to release their system, and I knew I didn't want to pay for the resonators that come with their system, since it probably wouldn't have enough volume for my taste. Plus, I didn't think the benefit of a full 2.5" system would really be noticed on a 4,200lb. car.

A catback system is nice, but the same can be achieved by simply replacing the mufflers and getting rid of the resonator, and you'll save a bunch of $$$$$

billapex- The Magnaflow website has three links to sound files and video of a blue RT idling/revving, on launch, and passing. They list a part number for that exhaust as part #15628 which may be a cat-back system. I didn't pay that much attention.
The setup you have appears nice. I doubt that I'd go with a full system simply because you gain too little for the additional $$$. I'm interested in tone and better, larger tips. All are additions from the rear axle back.
Out of curiousity were you able to use the stock hangers or what?

The sound bites are of their cat-back system, which is going to take far longer to release than originally stated. That's why I couldn't wait.
My system sounds like a louder, more robust version of what's on the Magnaflow site. And yes, the stock hangers are retained.
I still need to take a video of the car on launch...damn.

Has anyone considered replacing the first set of mufflers with a straight piece of pipe and leaving the back two mufflers in place?

I thought about it but am glad I didn't. After removing the rear resonators and peering into them, it looks like they neck down to ~1.75" inside. That's...uhhhh...not too good for performance and is certainly a reason why the car is so quiet with the stock exhaust.
