Like every one else who posted, I feel the hitch type is probably the best way to go.
When putting bikes or anything else for that matter on top of a vehicle there’s too many chances for something to slip and scratch or dent your car. They are also a lot easier to load and unload.
If you don’t want a welded hitch, look at getting a bolt on one from hidden-hitch, draw-tite or curt.
They all make one to fit the magnum.

On the car that I am using here in Japan I use a roof rack but most people don't care for those. With individual bike attachments you can get 4 bikes up there with no problem. It's all up to what you like.
