Default Bicycles on Magnum

Hi,

What do you think is the best way to carry three or four bicycles on a Magnum? Is the optional roof rack of any use?

thanks,
Jussi-Pekka

Optional trailer hitch with the mopar bike carrier should be able to do it.

Mopar #82204328 is a hitch mount for 4 bikes
Mopar #82204453 is a hitch mount for 2 bikes.

Lee Auto has a roof rack mounted bike carrier for the Magnum - look on:

No bikes in or on my Magnum RT, go with the hitch mount or a small trailer.

Definitely hitch mount rack on a Mopar hitch that is invisible until you use it.

Like every one else who posted, I feel the hitch type is probably the best way to go.
When putting bikes or anything else for that matter on top of a vehicle there’s too many chances for something to slip and scratch or dent your car. They are also a lot easier to load and unload.
If you don’t want a welded hitch, look at getting a bolt on one from hidden-hitch, draw-tite or curt.
They all make one to fit the magnum.

Saris makes a nice and stylish carrier that will carry up to3 bikes. It's called "Saris bones 3"

On the car that I am using here in Japan I use a roof rack but most people don't care for those. With individual bike attachments you can get 4 bikes up there with no problem. It's all up to what you like.
