RECALL for RT
My son who works in a bodyshop, looked into what was done on my RT for the recall.
Seems the grille was NOT removed to fix the broken bolt, the upper radiator support bolts in, they removed the support to drill out the broken bolt. They did NOT retap the hole, but used a bolt with a nut to fasten the upper support back in. Nice work - what ever is faster, I guess.
This is from a 5 star dealership! I am very unhappy with their shody work.
But I am stuck with them, as I bought the car there.
Oh well,
Bob

I looked under the hood....all looks good after the work was done.
Before they started the work, I did tell the advisor of the problems
that some of the Magnum owners were having with stripped bolts
and bolts breaking. The shop personel had no problem with the
removal of the brackets...they advised me that some of the
problems which others may be having were due to the use
of air tools. They say that if too much torque being applied too
fast will snap the head of the bolt.
I went to a Dodge dealer that I have done business with in the
past, and I have always been happy with their service department.
Not sure why they are not a "Five Star" dealership, since they
have always gone out of their way to make sure the work is
done right, unlike the "Five Star" dealer that I purchased my
Magnum from.

I got recalls 50 and 51 for the bracket and anti freeze test. I got card in the mail from Chrysler. I also got an earlier one to replace the emmissions sticker under the hood to show correct spark plugs. I did that one myself.

Okay, here are some photos to show you the bolts in question. You must remove the 2 black plastic covers to see the bolts, the covers just snap in and out. You can see part of the plastic covers in the corner of the photos.
First photo shows the passenger side, second photo is of drivers side.
I put a piece of tape with an arrow to point to the bolts.
