RT Average Gas Milage
Let us know what your Average Gas Milage is, I have seen a lot of differnt posts on MPG and am curious of an Average for the RT. My Average MPG is 14.7 MPG...

Hey my averages are around 15 around town when i slam around in stick mode. I get around 17 to 18 on the high and back roads to work. And when I am on a long trip i get 22 miles per gallon average. I have gotten 28 average for a 30 mile trip. The road was basically flat and I was doing 50 mph the speed limit the whole way. It was new years and i didn't want to get pulled over. the 28 m/g shows that the 4 cylinder firing thing works if you put it on cruise control and have flat ground. for the same trip at 60 mph i would get 23 or 24. But overall i get around 17 for an average week of driving.

WHo wants to par take in a MPG contest.
All you have to do is drive as conservative as possible for one tank of gas. Just to see what the max average MPG is for a HEMI.
Anyone interested? This means No punchin, dropping, slammin, squalin,smokin,rippin,tearin,dustin,flyin...just cruisin.

thats impossible. i cant even do that with my weak 2.7l intrepid. it must be impossible with a hemi. o yeah if u think 15-16 is bad thats what i get with a 2.7l v6. best of luck finding someone with enough self control not to floor it.

On road trips I easily get 22 or better mpg even with punchin' it to pass the Sunday drivers, but on the average day back and forth to work I'm getting around 15 mpg...mostly city driving.
HemiRT...no can do on the mpg contest. Maybe in another year I might be able to keep the foot out of the gas enough to do that, but right now I can't control my lead foot. It's just too freakin' fun!

In town with a heavy foot, I get about 16-17 MPG. All highway driving I get 24 MPG. On average I get 20-21 combination driving.
Hard to not floor it.
