Default Making my Magnum Perfect.

Ahh As the up-grades continue. So far the Magnum has received a C.A.I. that pulls air from the front of the grill. A K&N air filter to filter the smoggy air in southern Massachusetts.
The head lights are now fitted with the Silver Star bulbs and alighted. Just this morning I finished customizing the fog light housing to except a H-3 Bulb instead of the pen light H-10 girly bulb.
The suitcase muffler has been replaced with the Magnaflow 14468 Keeping stock tubes and resonators.
Come spring time around here I am going to peel off the crome strip going down the side but leave the rest of the badges.
I am wanting to put on better Performance tires because these Conties are bad.. Very bad. What are people finding that are equivalent height as stock but 1" wider? I am wanting to keep on the stock wheels because I just love the stock wheels.

for wider tires on the same rim the size you would want is 245/55 R18, they are the exact same OD as 225/60 R18, just wider, BfGoodrich is the only company that makes them as far as i'm aware.

Perfect?

I didn't think they came out with the SRT-10 Magnum yet... Did I miss something? The Magnum cannot be close to perfect with anything less than 500 HP. But I like all of the information on the threads of people trying to get there...

SRT-10, yup, that's what they need to do for the Magnum, just save some time and skip the SRT-8 and go straight for the jugular.

Ha, Ha...

Do you like the sound you get with the magnaflows and leaving the back as is? Is there a
lot of interior noise?

Sounds good! One suggestion, if you are going to pull off the side moldings, I would do it as quickly as possible. The paint on your car changes color do to sun bleach, oxidation, acid rain................................ and if you pull off the molding the paint under the molding may be a shade different.

Here is a little graphic calculator that shows you what happens with different size tires vs original size, or whatever you want to compare.
