side mouldings

RE: side mouldings
Side moulding comes off the same way the badges do - get some fishing line and some good gloves and just 'saw' your way along behind it.
Then use something like goo-gone or just your fingernail and rub off the black sticky goo that's left.
Tedious, but it doesn't damage the paint at all - unless you are unlucky enough to have a ghost image left behind, where the paint actually discolored a bit where the mouldings prevented it from changing with the rest of the paint.
Grinner sure do have his troubles :-(

I just peeled em off then used my finger n thumb to rub off the unwanted/un asked for hooha left over.
Did it on two magnums now and doing it in the warm sun is much easier.
As long as the paint has not been damaged by those bogus and quite useless moldings, your all good.
Otta take ya less than an hour.
why they wanna depreciate the car with these is beyond me but then, we're talkin about the same folks who scew on those fugly roof racks too.
Putting retirement-aged white dudes in charge of these decisions is pretty stupid on the part of Dodge.
Same guys who gave the thumbs up to the design of the new charger, I'm sure.
I've spent more time and money removing dumb stuff off my car than I have putting cool things on it so far.

RE: side mouldings
Each of us is certainly different. I'll surely agree on the 'fugly factor' of the roof rack. But I quite like the moldings. I've looked at quite a few photos so far, and really think it looks like something's totally missing when they're removed.
My side moldings will stay when I get my car.

There is also something that body shops use on a air Drill that looks like a huge rubber eraser. My dad does body work and uses them all the time to take molding goo off doors without wrecking the paint. You can BURN the paint though so be carefull.
Use a hair drier or a heat gun on a lower setting and take your time, if you rush you will mangle something.
