I ordered one - but has anyone heard anything as it relates to actual production/ship dates for the 2006's?

 

Holy cow! They're taking orders on 06's already? That's pretty wild since we're at least 8 months away from normal model year release dates.

What options did you get?

 

As listed in my signature - but in reality it was "just to get it in" as per the words of my dealer. Nice guy/trustable - but there were no prices, options, or descriptions - the contract was based on 2005 options linked to the code (which has been generated) for the 2006.

 

I was curious if the bigger Hemi was going to be an option on the RT for 06 I guess. Sometimes they change available engines from one year to the next.

What was the appeal of the 06 over the 05 for you? Have they sold all the 05's?

 

Nothing other than the fact that my planned pre order of a 2005 was canned when they ceased production earlier than expected a few weeks ago....

i ordered a 2006 magnum rt (VON: 14764957) on 2-15-2005 but wasn't able to get the cold weather package. anyone know why?
i tried to order a 2005 magnum rt on 1-29-2005 but wasn't able to get a VON number and was later told that they stopped taking
orders on the 2005s already.
