Traction?
Had to wait until after the snow season to ask this before I buy one for the wife, how's the traction control for snow.
We live in the Minneapolis area and have had front drivers for the last 4 cars, and she wants this Hemi thing and all! (as long as it pulls our boat OK!)
Any input?
Thanks,
Jeff in Minnesota

I found these on another forum.

The second starts the same but then changes..

If you are pulling a boat with any FWD that I can think of, pulling with the RT with the Hemi would be a piece of cake.
Isn't the snow you got last November still on the ground? It always seemed to be there each March when I lived in Bloomington.

Coming from Chicago. I've owned front wheel drive cars and rear wheel drive cars. The FWD drive cars pull better through snow covered roads and will handle better than any RWD cars. The traction control is a definite improvement over non-T/C cars, but the simple physics of weight and power distribution will give the FWD an advantage when it comes to winter driving. Once summer comes the Magnum is the Bomb!
Hey done! I do live in Bloomington and the past 3 winters have been weak! Have only 6" left and that will be gone by the weekend. 30's-40's by Sat. I pull my boat with a F150, but heck if I can use a Magnum, will do. Snow tires will be must next fall I'm a think'in.
Thanks for the input.

So get the Hemi with AWD and snow tires, you can wave at all the front and rear drive cars as you go by them in the snow....I really like me, so I take care of me, and I take care of my wife, too, AWD Passat.
i also live in michigan and ill tell you right know that my car sucks with the conti's. i actually had to get out and push the car yesterday. traction control doesnt help at all. but i still love driving this thing. it is overall a great car.
