Using http://www.powerdog.com/tiresize.cgi I quickly figured out that 255/45/20 is only .1 of an inch off of 235/60/18, which in turn is only 1/2" larger than the stock tire diameter, has no speedometer error and throws the odo off only 23 miles every 10000. I can get a Scorpion Zero in that size. Unless the BFG 245/55/18 will a)fit on my 18x8 rims and b)fit in the fender wells.

Kind of a bummer that so few people stuck to 18" wheels as there's very little info out there on decent replacement tires that I've been able to find.

No problem. Can't wait to see how this works out for you as I'm a fan of the 18's as well.

Gotta give credit to someone else for that info though. I had it all saved from a post I read a while back. Can't find the post though, not sure which forum.
