Man...am I excited!!

Today we head out to the dealership to trade off our current mount for the Magnum. I can't wait!!

Ever since I first layed my eyes on these machines, I knew I had to have one.

Oh yeah, forgot to ask.....

What are some opinions here on the break-in period? I usually just try to vary my RPM a lot during the first 1000 to 1500 Km (+/- 600 to 900 miles). Absolutely NO cruise-control. Then an oil-change at around 1500 Km or so (+/- 900 to 1000 miles). I don't baby the engine during break-in, but I certainly don't race it.

Any other opinions or thoughts?

you did it. congratulations man. you don't want to know how i break in vehicles. use your best judgment. i heard that your supposed to be nice to it for the first 1000miles, but i could be wrong and i don't have enough discipline for 1000miles. anyways i hope you enjoy it.

I was only able to snap one quick shot in the daylight before my camera battery died.

Oh baby....this thing is fantastic!!! Took it out for a bit of a cruise earlier this evening..........now I know what everyone means about the naked lady painted on the car. The last time I ever had this many people eyeing my ride was when I used to drive my '66 Beaumont (before I took it off the road to fix it up). The car drives just great. The feel is real strong and stable, and there's power to spare. I really can't imagine how much power that Hemi must have when this 3.5 gets up and goes the way it does. For me....this thing has loads of power......and I havn't even wound it up yet.

I can't wait until tomorrow when I get to drive it again!!!

I'd really like to thank everyone here on this forum for giving me helpfull info on this car prior to my purchase. It's great to be able to fully research something like this before jumping in. And so far....I'm completely satisfied!!

Ahh.....wish I could my friend. But where I live, we have snow for 5 to 6 months out of the year.

I'd love to live in a warmer climate, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

Is it tomorrow yet? Can I go for another drive yet?!!

Half-way between those two place - Red Deer!! Just had a big dump of the white crap all this week. It's suppose to be in the pluses all weekend long, so this is as clean as the Red Rocket is going to be over the next little bit. I'll probably wash it every other day over the next few weeks....until the snow goes away!!

I might pass thru there this summer sometime. The wifey and I are going to do a little road trip this summer.....just to stretch out the legs on this mean machine.
