05 Hemi Dyno Results
Guess you're having trouble reading my posts too, previously I stated I get 22mpg, so how are you killing the RT with your SXT getting 21mpg??, I'm actually getting better mileage than your SXT, kool.
Sticker on the SXT
$21,870 Base
$2,500 226G package
$410 Roof Rack and Cargo Organizer
$1,000 3.5L
$625 Destination

I got 30.89mpg on a 1000 mile round trip to Chicago from Omaha, NE. Cruise was locked on 70mph. That's crossing Iowa which if pretty flat. I filled up half way (250miles) and when I got to each destination. At the first fillup I made the calcs 3 times to make sure i wasnt messing it up. Now one thing to remember, if my logic is correct, those that have put on a free flowing intake should be getting a reduction on mpg because of the increase of air the computer will increase fuel flow. More fuel=increased HP and higher gas comsumption. I saw this on ny S-10 and the '02 Ram. This is why I will not be doing the intake. The only mod I have done is replacing the muffler and resonator with a Dynomax Ultra Flo. Mostly for the vanity of sound, plus when I went with a FlowMaster 50 on the Ram it would stop upshifting on the slightest hill and actually increased the mpg.

Cutting out the cats of your car sounds insane? If your willing to do that, why not get a real performance car instead of wagon? Anyways, the Hemi engine in the wagon is like a grandma wearing tight jeans ...
No markup?....kool, looks like alot of people paid alot extra for the hemi, 31mpg, thats great.
I definitely didnt buy it for economy....its was the lines and of course the hemi - an havent seen any other around here where I am, just SXTs everywhere

I edited my last post. Since Dodge caught with the demand of RT's around here they have stopped putting the markup on them. Heck when I went shopping for the Magnum back in June, the dealer in IA even had a markup of $2000 on the SXT. He didn't appreciate the "Are you F(*^(*'n Nuts!!!" comment haah. There are RT's sitting on lots here everywhere, even a Inferno Red one. The lines of the Magnum is what I was drooling over. Saw the commerical and had the bug ever since. I did a trip to FL in the Ram for military school and got 15mpg on the highway is when I said enough.

i agree, we're having communications issues. some of the terminlogy u use are a bit confusing. the "tumor baffle" is the called a muffler and what u refer to in ur picture as teh "exhaust" is actually a resonator. the term "exhaust" refers to the whole system of muffler/piping/resonators/headers/catalytics etc... + my best understanding of "straight piping" is removing the catalytics...
