05 Hemi Dyno Results
O5 Magnum RT
Just got dynoed over the weekend.
I had the 20lbs tumor baffle pulled and straight piped and installed the K&N Typhoon Air FIlter.

Runs were:
1st run was 294.2 hp 331.1 trq
second was 298.1 hp and 333 trq
last was 301.2 hp 340 trq
My stock run was 275.2 hp and 325 trq
So by ripping out the exhaust baffle and adding the Typhoon, I got a gain of 25hp and 15 trq.

When you say you "straight piped" are you talking about the baffle or the whole exhuast. If not the whole exhaust, are you running stock mufflers and resonators? Thanks for the info post! Its great to see realworld numbers.

ECONOMICS! The $4000 msrp (not including the $2000-$3000 market markup) over the SXT and lil better gas milage is what turned me to the SXT. I have outgrown the "need for speed". I got out of a 11mpg "02 Ram and the Magnum was the ONLY car that I would have considered. Plus I was $2000 down on the ram.
Also going by your drawing, I didnt see any mufflers or resonators. Is the blaffle/silencer considered mufflers on the R/T? I know that the R/T has resonators. Still on or removed?

You had a markup on the Hemi Mag?.....thats terrible, If i may ask what you paid for the SXT out the door?
My breakdown was this
05 hemi - with NAV - was 32,100, I paid 34,000 out the door, I had a 20K trade in and a check for 14k.
Oh, I get 22mpg with the hemi technology of the four cylinders shutting off on a cruise.

u have no mufflers? did u pull the rear resonators off too?
when i hear the term "straight piped" i think of removing the catalytics.
can you clarify a bit? maybe show some pics of ur exhaust set up?

Guess your having trouble reading my post, in my first post I wrote:
See where it says exhaust with the little squares at the end, thats the exhaust, its still there.
