The Hemi cover will make your engine run a little hotter as well, regardless of looks. For all you CAI fans, that might be something to consider.

I painted the pewter looking part dark blue to match the car for now. You can look a little farther in EBay and someone does have the center part in polished stainless steel for under $100. Id want the whole cover chromed on mine. Im not into that tribal looking stuff. As far as heat, Id say it may increase ambient under hood temps, but engine temp is controled internally by the coolant.

Actually, Patrick from Vararam offered the bit of information to me in one his emails to me, recentlly. BTW his CAI should be ready to sell in about 2 weeks.

Installed my 360 intake and love it...it sounds great and did add some more juice to the acceleration (or maybe the sound just make it seem like it has more pick up?) Did have a problem putting the cover back on- I have to pick up a longer vacuum hose that attaches to the intake tube because the one 360 included in the kit was WAY too short.
Gotta get that cover back on 'cause it just looks plain fugly!
