any '06s come in yet
65standard,
They tell me it is on a train heading for Benicia, CA. When it gets there it will be loaded on a car carrier and transported to my location. It left Brampton, Ontario, Canada on Apr 6. Don't know how long it takes a train to reach CA.

If a dealer told you there is nothing happening with the 06's it is because 1) he doesn't have any in stock and 2) probablyt wants to move the 05's he has stacking up on the lot. If you spend 1 day reading through this forum you are going to know more about these cars than 90% of the sales people you will encounter. The next time one feeds you that line tell them how suprised you are that they know so little about the product they are supposed to be selling.

Don't sweat the warranty man!

You are 100% right when you said: “If a dealer told you there is nothing happening with the 06's it is because 1) he doesn't have any in stock and 2) probably wants to move the 05's he has stacking up on the lot. They are also pushing the SXT’s.
Regarding: “Don't sweat the warranty man!†You are correct there also. I gave up on that. The dealer is going to do me a “big favor†and right before my 3/36 runs out he will sell me an extended warranty at “his costâ€. Big deal!
Did you buy yours in Sac?

Glad your dealer is cutting you a deal. Getting the extended warranty at cost is pretty cool because that is bumper to bumper instead of just power train. Chances are the stuff that fails from miles 36k-70k are all gadgets and not drive train stuff.
I bought my RT in Vacaville at MSRP and got the $1000 cash back with Chrysler Financing. I will paying the car off after my required 3 payments. I also just settled a dispute with my dealer when they backdoored in a $200 "window etching" add on that I didn't know about. They wrote me a $230 credit towardsthe principal on the loan after I wrote them a letter about it. This was in the finance department that this happened not with the sales staff.
Anyway, don't want to hijack anyones thread, looks like the 06's are rolling in!
Enjoy your car!!!
P.S. if your car is travelling anywhere by rail (most do) take a clay bar to that bad boy after your first wash and get that rail dust out. Follow that up with a polish and wax. If the rail dust gets imbedded in sap or dirt it can run and leave little red streaking stains on your car.
