Yes/yes and nothing...just hope for the best.
Nothing you can do about vandalism unless you lock it in a bunker and throw away the key. If someone wants your car bad enough, they'll steal it. Again the fix for that is lock it in a bunker and throw away the key.[sm=lockeddance.gif]

Your car can be stolen using a walkie talkie.

As silly as they are, I thought the keys were coded to the car, so a theif couldn't 'pop' the ignition to get the car?

There's LOTS of ways to steal a new car - other than driving up with a tow truck and hooking on - if you have the time just bring the computer from another car. It will already recognize your key and then you just pop the lock.

Not worried if it gets stolen, hope it is never recovered or damaged beyond repair. Then take the insurance money and get another. Now vandilized is different that I have to live with, as the repaint will not hold up as well as the factory paint.

As for stolen, I agree with Vanilla RT. Mine was vandalized 7 days after I got it.[] The car was repainted everywhere but the roof & hood. So far the paint is holding up great. Let's just hope it doesn't happen again. Talk about painful. Now, I know to keep my magnum in site at work and in a garage at night. Never again will I park in an apartment parking lot at night.

Wow that had to suck. I've never had a vehicle stolen from me, but a relative's mint Stratus was and damaged. Either way it's going to get stolen if they want it bad enough. I suggest getting a lowjack or a Viper security system if you're paranoid about it.
