Dude, you just wasted $700 worth of Nivomat shocks that you could have sold for $400 EASY to someone WITHOUT the tow package who wants them!!!

These are load-leveling shocks and WILL NOT work with lowering springs.

why won't they go down?
i need a little more information that they won't work with lowering springs. how about some fact about the workings of these shocks.
this is the part that no one can tell me, not even dodge.

if the shock is 2" shorter with the sport springs, the inside of the shock would be in the same position it was originally.

is there anyway to make these shock adjust to this new height?

don't look at it like i wasted $700 shocks, i sacraficed these for everyones knowledge. for everyones information, shortening these shocks 2" or relocating the mount 2" lower will not lower the car with lowering springs. any other ideas before i dissect them.

wow, now that's great information. thanks, much appreciated.

after reading that, it sounds like a 2" shorter nivomats should have adjusted the car 2" lower, but they didn't. i will have to re-read that a few times to fully understand what is going on inside the levelers.

in the mean time, my new shocks will be here friday. $86 each. dealer item only. thanks again propman.

however, it would be nice to keep the nivomats functional so the car doesn't get too low if hauling something.

Crying shame I tell ya'. I'm looking for a pair of these shocks for my 06 AWD. Too bad they are trashed.
