Could someone please post the Mobil 1 oil filer # for the 5.7 hemi. Thanks!!! You'd think they would have this info. on the mobil web site[sm=bomb.gif]

 

I use the 204, I think it's the sameone Dodge uses for alot of motors. My 4.0 6cly Jeep motor used the same one

 

Just call Pep Boys or another local store that sells Mobil1 filters. They sould be able to give you the number.

 

Pepboys...I was there, 5 people in line at the parts counter, 1 employee. No book for the mobil filters. Didn't have time to wait 1/2 hour to find out what was the correct filter was.
The store I usually get the k&n hp2004 at is out, guess it's back to pepboys tomorrow. Taking my lunch with me!

 

Yep, seems thay don't have books...you gotta go to the parts counter. However, why not save time and call them first thing in the morning or when you think the parts counter might not be too busy. I am sure they'd give you the number over the phone with no problems. If they did question it, explain how busy it was yesterday.

Well, I would guess the statement "I am using..." doesn't necessarily instill finality. If the answer was "it is 204", the question would have been answered IMO. Some people choose to use a filter number that may not be an exact replacement but works (and maybe has greater volume or something). That is what I got from your answer.

 

whatever, I use what the engine requires. No problem here..you guys can continue to make calls and ask the parts guys.
The 204 is the easy part, it's the letter before I don't remember, not that it makes a difference as there is only one 204 from Mobil, but I have been using their products since the started offering filters.

 

I just bought two mobil1 filters today from pepboys the # is M-204 .

K&N... #2004

Fram... "16"... depending on which series... "TG16" = "tough guard #16"
