Just like all the others, I am glad the Car did it's job and took one for you guys... As far as the Cash for the Car, you did get Gap Insurance, right? That way they will pay for the Current Value of the Car for you to go Buy a New one, not what your car was worth at the time of the Accident. That one always got me, I get hit and get $10,000 for what costs me $20,000 to go buy a new one. Although I have never used the Gap Insurance, so it's all theory so far...

Thanks. Let's just say I was trying to be good and checking my sideview when changing lanes when traffic in front came to a halt....looked up...and well....

Yeah the car probably saved me from some nasties...just got the word it's a total loss. Not sure about the "Gap Insurance"...I already called my dealer and she asked me the same thing.... i do have a "total replacement" clause on my policy I am reviewing
