2005 dodge magnum 2.5 - 3.5 engine swap

If you found one with a 3.5 and a 42RLE and took that PCM, yes. That SKIM maybe. You MIGHT be able to get away with using the SKIM from the 3.5/42RLE car as it will match the PCM but it will NOT match your keys (you'll need to get them reprogrammed) and you will get a VIN mismatch error code which may or may not cause problems (seems to vary). You could grab the donor car keys (if they are there), but then your key won't match your door. Then you'd have to grab the door cylinder, etc etc.
Should've just put another 2.7 in there, sold it and got an R/T lol. Cheap 05-07 R/T's all over the place. He didn't do you any favors. Ain't like the old days. **** is complicated by the specific electronics.

a few videos on youtube show there 2.7to 3.5 swap and most all say the used 2.5 computer and not the 3.5 computer and they said it worked with no problem my magnum will crank up and drive with the 2.5 computer but it drives like crap and the muffler is sputtering and only let me go a certain slow speed maybe between 15-25mph and wont switch gears and another thing that's confusing is why does some dodge magnum 3.5 have one one runner value plug on the intake and some other 3.5 engines for the magnum have two plugs and 2 runner values on the intake?????? please help its going on 9 months without my car no transportation
