Default Driver Rear Window

So today my Driver rear window does not want to go down.
So I am like all upset.
Tell my coworker who owns a 300C and he tells me to open the door, then close it harder than usual and then try it again.
His does the same thing and that is how he gets it to work.
I am like, NO!!!! I want to go to the dealer with it not working so they can do something about.
I put in my briefcase in the backseat, closed the door normally and then that sucker starts to work.

Is this a known problem?
My buddy tells me that on the 300's it happens to 8/10

Does anybody know what the actuial problem is.

that happened to me a couple of times..Got the magnum late august 04...when springtime came around I went to put it down and it didn't work...Then it worked again the next day and I don't rememeber doing anything unusaul..Called the dealer and they replaced the motor...The other day I swear it didn't work from any switch(thought I had lock on)..little while later it works..?????I usually don't crack the windows that much so I'm not sure if it works all the time..Live in Jersey(cold now)...Go figure...

Boy, this is a funny one, I have had the same several times, always works the next day, or now that you mention it, closed the rear door (I keep my coat back there). Never when I'm at the dealer though.

I have to open that window daily, because of the factory tint on the rear windows the guards checking IDs on post can't see if there is anyone back there, so now I just automatically have the window down when I'm entering post.

Yep...I've had the same with mine. I got mine in early September 04. It works most of the time and when it does'nt i pull up on the switch alittle harder and that usually clears the problem. Very weird.

Never had that problem, but my auto-up feature on my front driver's window stopped working and mysteriously started working a few days later.

Auto Up?

I know of Auto Down, but not Auto Up!,
Now I am curious, may have to do to car now and check that out.

2005 models don't have auto-up, but 2006 models do, as far as I know. I've had this discussion before with some memebers. All I know for sure, is that my 2006 R/T AWD has auto up on both front windows.

Funny thing that you have posted this up.
I got in the mail yesterday a Full Brochure on the Charger and Magnum and one of the features clearly visible highlighted was the Auto UP.
I had no choice was to chuckle!

That's funny. I guess DCX is proud of it.

it is a common problem that dodge knows about the left rear door regulator. my 2006 magnum had this problem.
sometimes the window would work and sometimes it wouldn't. the dealer replace the regulator with no problems.
