Hmm just thought of you being the purple nut haha, backlight the grill with purple neon.

Looks good, just wondering how much air flow is going to be blocked and if the engine will be running hotter.

Had a friend that had the same basic design on his F-150, but it was made out of flimsy stock, after about a year it lookws like someone had taken a ball peen hammer to it.

I get to deploy for a week, yippy tent life for me, but still have better than the guys & gals overseas, so I cant bitch too much. Just wish it was 70 degrees.

I cut the crossbars with a demel and an olfa knife. Wasn't hard at all. I video taped it and will share it once it's edited.
I got the mesh grilles from 65standard, here on the forum. He's a very talented, very cool dude.
I am getting em powder coated black for 50 bucks later this week. Next wekk, I will get the body work and paint done.

Looking good as usual! Good to see someone else have the dremmel cutoff wheel go flying too hahah. I went through 3 for the bezel cutup. The more and mroe I see it, I need to rob a bank so I can get 65standard to make me a grill. I have been playing with the idea of the whole silver/chrome front end or keeping the contrasting black grills. I have come to realize that my exterior is B O R I N G haha.

the grilles were a hand-made gift from my buddy 65standard.
They are already black. Will have the front fascia back from paint wed.
The support under the grille is styrofoam from the factory. It rests on it. The mesh itself is all the support required.

i think/hope.
