turned out cool:
a buddy helped me tear into the body work.

turned out like I hoped it would.

I smoked the foglights and color-mayched the foglight bezels while everything was taken apart.

So what the chome bar thingy at the bottom of the upper grille?

The broken styrofoam from the wreck showed up bigtime through the mesh grilles. I but the top part away with an olfa knife (don't try that at home, kids) and it revealed the steel bumper. It was black but wasn't pretty. Remeber that virtual metal diamond plate stuff I used on Nan's engine cover a while back?

I can't say this turned out perfect. I like it though. I made a few friends while making this one.
This is why I love these things we call our rides.

The is by far THE best looking Magnum I've seen online or in person bud!!!!!!!! It is, in my eyes, Foose worthy...work has been done, but it's subtle and looks like it belongs there! Wow, just Wow!

Love that hood btw, those louvres are pretty sweet.

Yes. You'll have to fill em in and repaint the entire front fascia. I used 3M Automix. It remains flaxible unlike most body fillers. Was a beotch to sand tho.
first I stripped her naked:

then startin fillin'

I used bondo spreaders (and in one spot, a stir stick) to construct a back to start building on to.

This stuff works as an epoxy. I used it as such with these pieces. Then I used it as filler. Just kept doin layer after layer, sanding in between each one.

I sanded it by hand. Lotsa elbo grease. Got carried away at the most crucial spot and warped the fascia from the heat. Had to fill in a little more.

had to sand my little buddy out. Wasn't like he was dried n crunchy either.

turned out lookin like a rice-eatin' whale shark.
Cost me less than our deductible would have been to bring it back to stock.
