RE: 2005 NEW DODGE MAGNUM/ FRAUD ALERT
I wouldnt count on one volunteering the info. They might not be able to lie if the buyers asks. Id still get a car checked over by a seperate shop if I was spending a lot of bucks. If someone brings a car to me, Ill check it over for paint or bodywork for free. If I cant spot it, it was repaired well and shouldnt make any difference.

Hello,
Even though you bought your car new with a "clean title", Why wouldn't the necessary repair(s) be covered under warranty?
Lots of people have accidents while their cars are still within the original "bumper-to-bumper" warranty. Even after a car has been repaired properly, the balance of the warranty is still usually honored.
Is you dealer saying that once a car has been in an accident no matter how small or large(unless totalled), the factory warranty is now null/void? that's bull...
Did you know that sometimes airbags can be accidently tripped. I've seen TSB's for my work van where if a stone hits the frame hard enough it'll trip the airbag. There was a National recall to change the sensor in all vans of certain years.
How does that dealer expect to sell "USED" Cars? Most used cars are purchased at auto auctions anyways and probably have been involved in small fender benders at one time or another. Oh I forgot, your dealer has the best prices because there's no warranty on any car involved in any prior accident regardless of mileage or amount of damage.
But If the hood was misaligned and the body lines aren't straight or panels aren't gapped properly, why did you purchased it to begin with?
How could ANY dealer know if ANY car has been repaired or touched-up at the factory before shipping? No car company will scrap an entire car for an "oops" at the factory.
And I do believe there are body accidents, mechanical, even computer failures that are resolved before a car leaves the factory.
You need to get it in writing that your dealer didn't damage(or total) the car while it was on their car lot. If they won't put it in writing, you'll now know who damaged your car.
I'm not buying your story Deloritas, I think your claim is a bunch of bull...

RE: 2005 NEW DODGE MAGNUM/ FRAUD ALERT
First off, I understood him to say he bought it used...so its buyer beware. I worked years ago for dealerships, and there were many times we fixed cars damaged in shipment to us. Whether it fell off the transport truck, truck driver scraped it or people shooting at it going down the road. I did a LOT of car roofs and windshields that got smacked by exhaust systems in the cars above them. Most of them got a free vinyl top. Not saying its right, but Id bet they never told the owners that bought them. IF it was bought new with those problems, and dealer didnt say it had been repaired THEY should fix it under warranty for free. They should also fix it free under warranty if they made the repair in the first place.

Car Fax is a joke
Case in point 1:
I bought a used 95 corvette that I carfaxed and it was a one owner, clean title, nonwreck.
When I tried to sell it to a firend who has a used car lot he told me that it had been wrecked. The rear end had been redone. The Car loked great to me even when he showed me the redo part. They did a great job.
Case in point 2:
I had a 2002 Z-06 Corvette that I wrecked and had $5,000 damage to the front end, paid by my insurance company.
When I traded it in several months later, I ran a car fax report to see what it would say and it never mentioned my damage or insurance claim.
I'd still car fax any used car I bought, cause if something shows up it must be a big deal.
