Default Any problems with Magnum's?

I was wanting to know if the Hemi magnum's are having any problems mechanical wise (for instance ram 1500 with a Hemi has been known to stall once and a while). I have an 04 Ram QC with a Hemi, and I am thinking about trading it in and getting a Magnum R/T. I miss having a fast car. Any info would be appreciated.

the biggest problem with em is how addicting they are.
I was knee deep into one for a month when we got another one. Now they eat all the spare time and most of the spare money.
Beware. You have been warned.

I've had mine since Sept. 2004 (42,000 miles) and i have not had any problems at all with the mechanical side of it. I do have the rear drivers side window problem but that's about it. I absolutely love my RT!

ahh
yes, ditto that. Back driver's side window. Bad switch. There is a TSB on it. Some have a pop sound over the windshield int he morning thats pretty loud. Again, a TSB. There was a radiator coolant recal on some '05s but no '06s that I know of. Mine had it. Just took it in with an oil change. No biggie.
A couple of small things non mechanical:
all of the headliners and pillars are the same color no matter what the color of interior of the car. Not that there is a large variety, just two of em but they picked the worst color to get cheap with, imo. Also, there are two panels on the leather seats that are not leather. Had to have cost em more to disrupt the assembly mine for this corner-cutter. The front of the headliner otta have a trim piece but doesn't. The brake pedal sticks out too far. Wears a hole on yer floor mat much quicker than any other ride but an old beetle. And my persdonal pet peave... they stick dopey side moldings on too low to be functional and to two-sided tapy not to dammage paint by trapping moisture.
skip the boston premium audio stuff
have em throw in the full warranty that use to be free

fine cars. You will enjoy it.

Thanks for the info. I love those hoods you guys have, are they fiberglass or sheet metal? I have yet to drive a hemi magnum because I was affraid that I would fall in love with it and have to buy it. I think I am gonna have to suck it up and take a test drive.

thats what'll suck ya in, brother. I was just gonna test drive it too.
They are hemi-feeding fiberglass hoods. Totally functional. Look kinda neato too. Not perfect.
...but not stock.
