Default Magnum R/T Intake in Development

I contacted Joe Boblett of 360 Air Intakez (a Dodge Forum advertiser) and asked him about the status of an intake kit for the Magnum R/T. He said that he is trying to get ahold of an R/T to look at and will begin making kits for it as soon as he can. I'll keep everyone posted...

Where is he located at? I am willing to do a mock up using soft tubing and send it to him. We have such an easy place to put the CAI. Our intake (other than it's too small) is almost in a perfect location.... just need to bend the tubes to fit.

There is one ball buster on the CAI... they will have to route it a little differently or they will be kept at a maximum of about 3" because the hole that the stock tube goes into is surrounded by sheet metal. I'm going to take a closer look this coming weekend, but we might just have to live with a 3" intake....

Well I'm going to make a mock up and send it off to Domestic Performance. I have worked with Ty for a very long time on the Grand AM project and he's not all that intrested, but he can make volume and I can assure you that he will have the best quality to price ratio out there. So I'm willing to be I'll have a CAI for us in a month, maybe less.

Okay.... it's done. It will be 3.5" wide and made of aluminium. I haven't decided on the size of the cone filter, but I think I will one that is good for no less than about 500 HP at the crank.

Hopefully this will only take a about 2 weeks total turn around before DP can sell it.... here's hoping!!!
