I heard there were minor differences like the 05 has gas struts to hold up the hood where the 06 has a prop bar
Just wanted to see if there were any others

Same car. You can buy a hood strut kit for an 06. Biggest (best/ difference) is that 05s are cheaper and come with 75,000 mile powertrain warranty. 06 is 36,000

A few color changes
New Satin Silver Center Stack Bezel on SXT and RT
Larger HEMI Badge
New R/T badge
New Tire Pressure Monitor

Those are the only differences listed for the '06 R/T in my product guide.

There could be some minor techy stuff ... like the prop rod

Is it true that the 2005 have a 75000 mile waranty compared to the 2006 which has a 36,000 mile warranty?

05's have the 7/70 powertrain - 06's are 3/36.

Locally, one dealer has 3 or 4 RT Magnums and they are offering over $10K off the sticker price (plus $1K gas card & lifetime oil changes) to get them off the lot.

Ok I think I found the Magnum for me But I would like input from you all to see if I am getting a Good deal.
It is a 2005 RT will all options other than AWD with only 5,000 miles on it.
He wants me to pay off his loan which is only $27,200
What do you think?

Again thanks for your help!

whose the dealer??? maybe I'll trade cars???

regarding theoffer on the taking over the loan...sounds ok just make sure all the warranties will transfer ...unless you can find a left over somewhere else.
