Default question for magmania & all lowerd magnums

the question is for every one ( i just have a vanella rt ) how low did you guys go? and has there been any downside to this. what springs did you use. is it worth paying the extra 70$ to get the eibok brand and not the other brands. also my local tire shop couldnt find a tire with a 40 profile. all they had was a 35 or 45. are the 40 profile hard to find for a 20in rim? magmania nice hoodscoop how much$

I went with the Eibach Prokit series (1.0" to 1.5" lower). The Eibach Sportline series is 1.7" to 2.3" according to the manufacturer.

The down side for mine is very minimal. I have to slow down alittle more than usual at speed bumps and driveway dips.
The upside is a much much better looking stance and car posture. I suppose the handling is better but not as much as if you get the entire suspension system.

I can't speak for going lower than I have. I did'nt want to go too low and then have to worry about every little crack and bump in the road. After all, mine has a Hemi in it. What good would it be if I was having to constantly slow down all the time?

As far as the extra $70 bucks? I would think that other makers have quality springs but I am willing to spend alittle extra for a tested and "known good" product.

I also wanted to get a 40 series tire but it was also a "no go" as well for me ...bummer.

The hood was purchase from an online site (http://estore.websitepros.com/802805/Detail.bok?no=386). It was'nt 100% perfect but it probably could have been if I had pushed the body shop more which would have probably costed me more (paint and labor was approximately $600). Overall I'm happy with the final out come.
Hope that helps.

Thank you for the compliment. I try and keep the look as subtle as possible and not so much gawdy or tacky.

It may be lower in the front ...if so it was not intentional (it might be the driveway also). Not all cars will be exactly the same necessarily. It depends on where the springs finally settle in. And yes the dealer's service department installed them for about $600 or $700 (not including the alignment).

The hood is a complete hood. Click on the link in my previous post for the details on the hood. There is also another hood out there somewhere called Magnum Force? It's pretty similar but it does not come to a cowl on the back end of the scoop (by the windshield).

Check out Undropped's gallery for detailed photos of his setup.
Can't really see where he carries his spare.
