Default Dirty back window. Solutions?

The back window on my 2005 Magnum RT seems to stay dirty. It occurs to me that all the other station wagons I've owned (yes, I call them station wagons and I have proudly owned several - most with faux woodgrain) all had wind deflectors in the back directing air down and over the rear window to help keep it clean (preventing the "vacuum" that forms behind the car from blowing all the passing dirt onto the back window).

Does anybody make a stylish rear defelector/wing that helps keep the window clean without looking like a dork-meister add-on??

no there is none yet in production, there have been some modified rear spoilers, but none that would direct wind downwards rksport makes side vents which may help with this, but I cant be certain they do much besides alter the looks.

There are some spoiler options coming to market soon from Avon Custom Wheels.

Yes, the deflectors did really help. The back window stayed MUCH cleaner with the deflector in place vs. without. On the older wagons I owned the deflector was an integral part of the roof rack. The design of Magnum's "hatch" prevents that type of design even though I have the optional roof rack.

I like you spoiler. Very nice. Is it fiberglass?

the spoiler is made from a foam core wrapped in fiberglass. i also made one out of carbon fiber.

VERY nice work. Looks like you got a great, smooth finish on that carbon fiber piece.

Did you retain the 3rd brake light and window washer in your design?

Where did you get the rigid foam core material?
