Default SRT-10 rims fit??

Does anyone know if the SRT-10 rims will fit on the RT? The rims from the truck not the viper.

The bolt pattern appears to be the same but I think you would be limited by the width of the SRT-10 rim (10"). I believe the widest you could get onto the Magnum is 8.5". There have been quite a few rim swaps among regular posters to this forum. Anyone gone wider than 8.5"?

To go wider than 8.5", you will have to go up in diameter. I went to a 9" x 20" to get the extra width but you may just have to go to a 19" if you can find them in the proper bolt pattern. I believe I saw someone in DF that had 18 x 8.5 on front and 19 x 10 on rear but I can't remember where or who. If I come across the post again I'll let you know

sikpuppy, with the rims you have do you know if the extra 1.5" over the stock is spaced evenly (1/2 inward, 1/2 outward) or is it more biased or entirely to one or the other, just wondering cause I want to replace the factory tires but I want to keep the factory rims cause I don't like the look of any of the aftermarket rims i've seen and since no one else makes 225/60-18 I was thinking of going with 245/55-18 which is the same OD as stock or 255/55-18 which is .4" larger OD but I was wondering if I would have any rubbing issues due to the extra width of the tires.

I am running BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDWS at 245/55-18. They are a direct fit for factory wheels. I have been extremely pleased with them so far (about 800 miles on them). Finally, no hydroplaning! The 245/55-18 and the 225/60-18 are the only direct fit sizes that will allow you to keep an adequate load rating for your tires. The best thing about the BFG's? Around $85 per tire from the Tire Rack.

thanks Nick, those are actualy one of the two tires I was looking at, only reason I was looking at the 255/55-18 as well is because of the lack of options in 245/55-18, those BF Goodrich ones were the only ones I could find and I wanted to go with a grippier summer tire and just swap the factory tires on for the winter, for the 255/55-18 I was looking at the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 which are a very grippy summer tire and I figured the extra 0.4" OD wouldn't be an issue. how are the BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDWS as far as dry weather traction compared to the stock continentals?

They are working great. Much more stick than the stock tires (wet and dry). No hydroplaning even in heavy rain. Corners like a dream. Ride is very nice. Just a tad more road feel but nothing of any concern. I read all of the comments at Tire Rack and some were quite negative. I'm glad I took the chance and wound up with a real performance tire that has some all season use at a bargain price.
