Any vibration problems?
Taking my '05 RT AWD in for a bad driveline vibration on tuesday. Just curious if anyone else has had problems. I did a search and didnt find any posts.
It's most noticeable around 60mph and 2000rpm, but I can feel it at all speeds. I feel it in the seat mostly so I'm guessing driveshaft imbalance or something similar??
Tires are new Goodyear Assuranceand road-force balanced so they're not the culprit.
Sure hope I get that SRT for a loaner.....yeh, I know, I'll probably getthe Sebring!
Thanks for any input!

Talked to dealer, he ordered a new driveshaft. It'll be in Tuesday.
I searched all over and haven't found similar complaints, so I guess it's not a common thing.
Funniest part of the whole deal is, he gave me a Chrysler minivan as a loaner!
I spend a lot less time in the left lane lately!!

I have had 2 vibration problems...first was at about 10,000 miles, during parking speed turns, dealer replaced the transfer case. Lately, it was a bad car vibration under certain partial load conditions, felt like you were driving over RR tracks, but constantly. Dealer replaced the transmission to fix that one.
Back in again for same problem. After jerking me around about tire balance, they finally noticed the left axle was bent...DUH!!! Ordered part, we'll see what happens.
I have been driving a 300C loaner this time, beats the heck out of the minivan!!

From day one I've noticed driver's seat vibration at 37-40 MPH with my Magnum. It is always apparent at this speed, even on smooth surface. As I accelerate, it diminishes. I've had it back to the dealership a half dozen times, had the tires checked and balanced. The vibration still exists. I'm at a loss about what to do next. The vibration is most annoying, especially since this is normal speed for city driving. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this?
"Update"...took it for a drive after left axle shaft was replaced. Still feel vibration.
Gotta call in the morning. Do I push for the other axle shaft, tranny, or something else?
This is frustrating beyond belief! I love the car, but jeez!!

Hey Bud, I am having a vibration problem at high speeds going over 65 mph. 02 Intrepid seems to vibrate during execution on right curves on freeway. In the past, I hit an island curve on my driver's side. I can only suspect ball joint or driveshaft (which you said you replaced). The ball joint is not a replacement part on the 02 2.7, so I have to replace the control arm ($40.00 in my area). Before doing that, I will keep searching this site to see if someone had similar problem. Then perhaps fix my problem. Good luck with ya...
I had a vibration after I installed a new set of GoodYear assurance tires about six month ago. They had me run tires for a few hundred miles and forced balanced them again. They replaced two of the tires and put on front. Vibration was almost all gone. Steering wheel was steady but I could feel vibration in seat still not just right. I ran tires until time of a rotation six thousand miles.. When the rear tires were moved to front vibration was real bad again. They tried to force balance tire but could not get in it balance. So they installed the third new tire. Vibration gone and tires are doing good now. The original cont's tires rode real good but were soft rubber and wore out fast and I am not a fast driver. If tires are not perfect these Magnum will let you know it.
I bought my new 2005 BlacK RT- RWD when they first came out (Nov 2004). It has been a good car. Only had the windshield pop fixed and replaced the cont's tires. It has 27,000 miles on it now and still looks like new. I get 25-26 MPG highway @ 72 MPH>>>And 72 is my age
