Hey any of you b-body guy's give an answer to my question,or maybe a link to some more info.? Is the inside quarters get painted body color, or more or less just over spray from the rest of the trunk. This car has under coating/sound deadener on both inside quart. so its hard to tell. I am not sure, but I believe that the inner quarters are actually painted and not just overspray. I also believe that the filler tube is natural and not body color since it goes on much later than any paint.

Thanks for the help 71 road runner. I figured the filler was natural, becauce like you said it's put on after. But this is my first resto and the guy had every thing painted. ( under coating rust and bugs!!). Tried www.MyMopar.com too. Got basicly the same info. thanks again for the help!!!! I'm sure there will be more questions! I've learned that 99% of the answers for any questions is majority rules and if someone is miss taken. Most guys will set you straight after the fact.

I thought I knew that name from somewhere, I'm of course 71RR on there. I am also 71ROADRUNNER on there, but things got screwed up registering my 1st time, deleted the confirmation E-mail, so I had to do it again as 71RR.[sm=smiley2.gif] It's a great place for the classics.
