It will improve the cooling, but a fan shroud would possibly be even more benefitial to you. It will also free up lost horsepower that your current fan is robbing you of, as well as allowing the engine to rev up quicker.

A fan shroud would be the next item I would buy along with a factory 7 blade fan. They came factory with these big blocks. I have no problem cooling with that package.....[sm=smiley20.gif]

In MoPar Muscule, Dulich did a test, but not with the 7 blade fan. The Viscous fan made 15 more HP than it's nearest rival. Use with shroud for max bennifit.

Yep. I had a super lightweight Flex-A-Lite aluminum flex fan on my Roadrunner, until one of the blades broke off, thankfully it did no damage since it came loose while it was idling in a parking lot at the time. After removal I found that a couple other blades were cracked and ready to break loose as well. I highly suggest that no one ever under any circumstances use a flex fan unless it is one of the one piece plastic fans. I highly recommend the use of the Mopar Performance viscious fan package, I switched to it and it's doing a great job.
