05 Neon SRT Design
Ok,
I know that this will start a war, I just saw the pictures of this "Neon SRT Design." You know, the one with all of the benifits of the SRT-4 Without the Engine!!! And the PLUGED COWL on the hood!!!!!
What do you think about it?
Would you buy it?
The picture is posted at the top of the forum.
Just wondering what everyone thinks.

Its stickied at the top of the neon forum. Well considering you don't know how much I wanted a SRT4, I think you can figure that I like the new look. But it will kinda suck for the SRT4 guys, since their car won't be as rare anymore even though they are not the same, they do look very similar.

honestly, i'm not a fan of the fake hood scoop. sure it may make the car look a little tougher, but that could be bad. the whole point to a sleeper is so that the next guy thinks that you've got nothing for him to worry about, right? now, if someone pulls up next to you and sees the scoop, he's gonna think you've got something meaty under the hood. they might even think you've got an srt-4. that's fine i guess, except if you really don't, then the only people that'll take you on are the ones that can actually take on turbos. 2.5 rs's and stuff like that. if you've only got the 2.0 like the sxt comes with, you're dead before the light even turns. sort of a reverse sleeper. people will think you've got a fast car, but you really don't. bad news.[sm=badidea.gif][sm=smiley21.gif]

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the fake hood scoop. But if they did have the SRT4 hood on their that is actually functionable I'd like it more. And hopefully meh neon will be able to hang with at least a stock SRT4 one day, if not it in real life it will in my dreams.

well if it comes with the car its not as bad as someone putting on a non functional hood scoop....like paying money and putting in effort to get something so rice.
