Throwing any codes?
It could either be bad rockers or a floated lifter. And since it's pretty loud at idle and RPMs I'd say it's probably floated but it could also be bad timing as well. It's tough to say which is why I asked if it was throwing any codes.

i have had this noise for 3 months now. i pulled off valve cover to see if anything was broken. all good !!! it drives and runs strong but the ticking noise is annoying !!! is it possible that magnum head i installed with crane cam #12 dont work together ??

Not likely, they can only go in one way in my experience.
I'm telling you it's a lifter or your rockers. It'll still run good and strong but be wary, when it finally breaks, it's going to do a lot of damage. I'd have it repaired.
