2 Questions 1 aboyt system 1 about a race with rice
Ok 1st question i just put a system in my neon and it hits hard for 800 watts Visonik and amp so anyways the sound is all in the car and almost none outside is there any way to keep the sound outside the car its in the trunk with the subs facing out...2nd question im racing a Civic Ex With an intake and exhaust on a 1/4 track and its slow and the dude cant shift what should i do to get my car ready besides take the sub box out? 95 neon hidhline intake/exhaust. Thanks
I'm confused. What do you mean by keeping the sound outside the car? You want to be one of those annoying people who drive down the street causing windows to shake? If that's the case I oughta smack you. It's people like you who keep me up at night. The idea of having a stereo system in your car is so you can enjoy it. Not **** people off with classles bass.
And as for the race, remove the backl seat, passenger seat, sub, amp, and whatever extra weight you can pull out of the car.

Question # 1. Take the entire "System" out of your car and sell it on ebay. Then take all the money earned and put it into your engine, so you don't get your *** handed to you by rice.
Question # 2. When the light turns green, put your right foot all the way to the floor, and hold it there untill the race is over.
That's how we do **** in Philly.

Well if he's racing at a track he needs to wait for the 3rd yellow light to come on. If he waits for the green he'll get treed. But if he's doing street racing then yeah, the light turns green you go. BTW, Street Racing is teh ghey.
yea def dont worry about what ppl can hear and worry about what YOU can hear...anyways if you get a better system more than likely youll be able to hear it better and better outside....better the system is.
1. If you want more sound get better subs, But I wouldn't worry about what people outside your car can hear its whats inside that counts.
2. Take your system out along with the rest of the interior except for the drivers seat. Get and install a crane #12 camshaft.

Advanced Timing + Boost = B00M!!!
For turbo you want a stock PCM not a performance one. But if you really want a performance PCM for you turbo hit me up. I'll be selling my SOHC AF/X because of my turbo being installed.
I did not know that about a performance PCM, I thought it would still adjust the timing correctly. But in any case all I was saying was there a lot of different add-on for the neon, and it takes money to go fast. Crazy if you have any more information on the turbo and pcm, I would like to see it.
Yeah, anytime you are dumping needless amounts of fuel into a turbo you are going to have problems. One of the reasons why you do not want a performance PCM with turbo is the fact that you are already increasing fuel. It's not so much the advanced timing as it is the fuel. The AF/X causes your car to run rich. Richer than normal since Neons tend to run rich stock. But the AF/X along with raising fuel it'll advance your timing per se....spark. You don't want a hotter spark for turbo. It'll cause detonation and pinging and that witha turbo is bad since it makes it unstable to a degree, I'm at a loss of words.
So, coupled with the hotter spark and increase in fuel you've basically got a bomb on your hands. A bomb that can destroy your engine. What you want is a stock computer. Since you are going to add colder spark plugs, and an RRFPR to do the job of the performance PCM. You don't want both and you definitely don't want the PCM over the colder plugs and RRFPR.
I could be off on some of my info. It's been a long time since I've looked into why a performance PCM is bad for turbo. Ok I know that with an Mopar Performance PCM you'll run 10* advance in your timing. Even running high octane fuel you run the chance of blowing up the engine and the turbo or melting your spark plugs. My money would be on destroying your engine before you melt the plugs.
