Default Replacing Automatic window motor

Hi,
Mine is a 97 neon with power windows only on 2 front doors. Switches started to act up and the funniest thing is - I couldn't find 2 similar switches in whole Toronto. I am thinking of replacing the power windows with manual window cranks.
Can anyone confirm if it is just a matter of removing the motors and put manual cranks? Or are there any other complications?
Thanks guys...

you can get them on ebay or at a junk yard. To change to manual, you will have to change the whole mechanism, as well as the door panels.

should be able to pick one up from a junk yard $50-$75, or new about $150. Its not that bad to take the door panels off, but it is a tight space to work in and is a little of a PITA. But its not that bad maybe 1-2hrs.

Well, actually it's not that difficult to fix. The motor is working just fine - just the switches are not working. So far I looked into a few junk-yards, Canadian Tire - no one seems to carry power window switch (surprise, surprise)... I will check ebay though.
I don't need the whole mechanism, only the swith... Any other suggestions on places that might carry different model switches???

Wait a minute you only have power windows on the front 2 doors and none on the back? Sounds like you might have aftermarket power windows.

Yup, it was put by the previous owner. And they didn't do a very good job - I can tell you that...

Your going to have to find a switch from the company that made the kit or just make a switch fit.

Mine is like that to, power in the front, manual in back. I don't remember if there was an option for power windows all around. The reason the windows don't go all the way down in the back is there physically isn't enough room for them to go all the way down.
