Default resonator

some one told me that if i remove my exhaust resonator, it would help me out a little, just want to know whether its true or not...

yeah a little, but, the best thing to do is header, high flow cat, and then high flow exhuast all the way back

Ummm....you must be talking about your cat. I woudn't remove it. For one it's against the law to remove the cat and does carry a $25K fine. And two, you'd probably hurt performance.

I'll let you know what happens when I remove my resonators. I'm installing a set of JBA ceramic headers with a flowmaster muffler (Single exhaust)

Not to mention you'll get some pretty poor gas mileage. ANd just to let you know, the Neon has one header/manifold and one cat.

i was running my rx7 wiht no cat or exhaust straight headers....omg it was like 9:30pm im preety sure my neighbors hate me []

on my car, i do have a freer flowing cat, header, and stock 2 1/4 inch exhaust.

1. Neons don't have a resonator.
2. Removing a resonator will do nothing for performance because its pretty much straight through anyway.
3. You would be better off getting a high performance muffler to complete your exhaust system.
