my bro has a 98 dodge neon highline with the 2.0 SOHC, whats the best sounding muffler out there for this car, lookin for somthin deep without a ricey buzz to it.

No, sorry, I do not have a sound clip of mine.

 

Now what about the Apex'i N1 exhaust system? They have it for N/A engines. I've heard excellent reviews, and I plan on purchasing one soon. Maybe not, of course, because I ahven't heard it. But I'm a pretty big fan of Apex'I, so oh well. :P

 

the N1 exhaust system, is my favorite system for a neon.. i got the turbo one as that's all i could find and i wanted bigger, but you might be able to just buy the muffy and have a shop weld it on. i do not know if it will have the exact same sound, but it will have a nice low growl. E-mail me if you want a soundclip of the N1 turbo.

 

I have the pacesetter and I love it. Nice low growl, only time its raspy is when your not on the throttle at higher rpms, if you shift right it sounds great.

 

i got an 02 neon with a 3a racing exhaust i welded just the muffler on and i have gottin many compliments on it. it doesnt sound to ricey and it has a nice tone to it. i took off the silencer. Apexi also has a nice cat back for the older neons that sounds hot.
