I have an 03 Neon se, its been acting up with electrical problems. In the mornings or if its been sitting ( i would say 6hrs or more) gives me a hard time starting. Car Wont crank over, lights inside go out when i turn the key. Battery is good, autozone tested it, dealer tested it a few months back at the time they reflashed the PCM.They said they couldnt find anything wrong.. When i jump it , car starts right up, Anyways Headlights come on, radio turns on, But when i turn the lights on, the cluster lights and the radio turn off..And just yesterday the needle on the cluster went all the way around so its below 0MPH point. I see the needle jump when i turn the key, but since the little resting bar is in the way it wont go up.. Need help??

 

Classic symtoms of a dirty ground cable. Clean the battery terminals. Clean the batt negative to engine, batt neg to body, engine to firewall. Then see how it works.

 

Cleaned the crap outta the grounds and put some anti corrosion stuff on, havent had problems since last reported, but still have the cluster & radio lights going out when i turn the lights on.. Dimmer switch??Voltage regulator?? And the speedo needle went all the way around and is still below 0mph...
