My car has lots of mods. but im still not happy!! I need more Power !!


This is what i have in my car, please tell me what i need to make more power :

1. Magnum ported head with stage 3 porting
2. Crane cam #14
3. Crane valve springs+retainers
4. 60mm Throttle body
5. Afx race computer
6. Screaming Demon coil
7. Ice Man cold air intake
8. Optimun Battery
9. Stainless Steel Header
10. Race Cat Convertor
11. Borla Exhaust muffler
12. B+M short throw shifter
13. Booger shift bushings
14. Magnecor spark plug wires
15. Unorthdox Racing underdrive pulley16. Motor mount inserts

WHAT IS MISSING ??

a turbo or NOS. performance wise you got most of it already.

 

You could go with an limited slip differential.

And if you plan on getting a turbo or nitros, drop the AF/X computer and use a stock one.

Also, the coil and wires aren't doing anythign for the car.

You can also remove the injector humps from the intake manifold (you need to remove the IM from the car and grind the humps out with a Dremel).

Port the flange the throttle body mounts to so that the opening for the IM is also 60mm.

You could go with an ignition system MSD DIS 2 is probably the best one.

Umm..that's all I can think of right now. Theres a lot more you could do. When I think of stuff I'll let ya know.

 

yeah are all great upgrades, but I think they would all only be about 10-20hp all together. what he is looking for is a race car. turbo or NOS would be the only big HP gain.

 

With the mods you have, you probably have like 40 horsepower on just the computer and the cam. Go get an SRT-4! You have a nice car though. What type of hood do you have? Looks like you put a lot of money and time into it. That picture is your car right?

 

Is your hood scoop open or is it fake?

 

here's an idea:

Take your engine and rip it out, push the firewall back and tub the fenderwells, go and get a hemi, and make it work, I promise you won't be saying I need more power

 

Ok, quick question. Everyone realizes that NOS is a brand, right? I keep seeing more and more often people referring to it as NOS. I'm not trying to sound... I dunno.. mean or (insert favorite word here) but NOS is so mainsteam, everyone refers to nitrous as NOS. What about Nitrous Express? Zex? Venom (My Fav), there's a few. There's another company out there doing cheap kits... but that's your engine, not mine. Oh well, that's my two cents worth. I'm just in a mood. :P Goodnight!

 

dont hink about Nitrous ..... get turbo this is the only real good investemtn that you can make and by the way some of your stuff will need to get like the headers....

better perf. for the buck!!!!

 

Do you know what kind of numbers your car is making (dyno)? Or what does it run in the 1/4...I'm just curious, I because I was going to do something similar to what you did, but I have different idea now.
