It is either that they changed something mid-year, or that because you transplanted a magnum motor thats the difference.

they are pretty specialized, I would say the junkyard would be best, a parts car, maybe ebay, but I doubt it. Oh there is always the dealer, just expect to pay out your A**!!!!!!!!

yeah and I'm using it. It's the sensor thats different from the harness. But a new sensor costs $50 bucks. I'll have to replace the plug on the harness. Could I just cut off the plug and solder the wires to the sensor prongs?

So you don't have 2 harnesses? When I grabed the new motor I would have grabbed the harness that came with that motor. You can just solder it to the prongs, it is not the right way to do it, but it should work. But why would you not want to goto the junk yard, do it the right way, a harness shouldn't be that expensive.

all the junkyards near me are really far away and not well managed.I'll just solder it straight to the prongs. To get a new used harness that went with the engine was another $200. I was on a very limited budget, being in college and all. Most of the other connections went fine this is the only one giving me trouble

It will work, but I am not recomending it. You might be able to get just that plug from the junk yard, that might be an option.
