Lowering springs..need struts?
I just ordered the eibach sportline lowering springs..do i need struts..and if so..what kind do you think are best or have used on your neon..i have a 2k plymouth neon thanks..and oh yeah..installation..anybody who knows how to please let me know..thanks
I use KYB GR-2 struts but you can get the Koni adjustable struts.
As for installation, you need to remove the strut fromt eh car compress the spring remove teh top nut off the strut and remove the spring.
You will need an impact wrench for the top nut, and a spring compressor.

If your stock strut are good, you should not need to replace them. The Koni struts are the best, and if you wanted to upgrade the handling even more get them. The KYB struts are just like stock, they are just replacements.
I have some Tokico HP struts with my H&R Motorsport lowering springs (1.5in front/back) and I love the combination. Much stiffer than stock and it handles very nicely. The strut tower brace helps, too. Hope this helps, 2K4
A wrench, usually powered by electricity or air, in which repeated blows from little hammers are used to generate torque to tighten fasteners. The torque applied to the fastener depends upon the time and the air pressure applied to the tool (for pneumatic wrenches). The torque applied by an impact wrench to a fastener is influenced by the joint stiffness.

thanks alot for all the info..i thought that was what it was..oh yeah and where and how much could i find and purchase one of these tools..thankds for all the info..
Home Depot, Sears, Lowes anywhere that sells power tools.
You are also going to need an air compressor if you don't already have one. And if you do you have to make sure the tool you are buying will work with the rated psi of your compressor.

You sure do love pictures huh Crazy? You don't need an impact wrentch to do the job though, a good one is gonna cost you a hundred or more. All you need is a good socket and wrench.
