if u have a system of decent size put a cap on it, i have 2-10's pushed by 1000w amp, bridged, so I had no choice, It stops some of the headlight dimming, but not all of it

just so you know that sony amp is rated at 1000 watts max. and the way they over rate their stuff its probably pushing about 200 watts to each sub. if it were pushing any more it would blow those subs.

i know, but i was trying to keep a match system and the pentagon shaped subs sound kinda cool, it's really only like 290 watts each sub... I had a better system full eclipse but it was stolen out of my old car. can't afford all the stuff that i had in there and at the time, had liability insurance only

i got a 1500 watt rockford but the rms is only like 300 or sumthing to each sub. the alpine type S subs can hold 600 watts each. my light dims alittle but my battery never died on me b 4. out of no where it just didnt even have the juice to honk the horn. thats when i got the new battery. i was just curious cuz i dont wana mess this battery up.
