Default bogging problems

I need some help! I have a 98 dodge neon DOHC. It has a bogging problem. When i am driving normal there is no problem as soon as i come down on it, it is missing. I have replaced the plugs and the wires. Someone told me that it could be a timing problem and that i should change the CAM sensor but i dont want to spend a bunch of money if that is not the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

thanks

no it goes into gear fine it is just when i step on it, acting like it is not getting enough gas. someone said that could be the CAM sensor but i do not want to buy another 100.00 part if it is not going to fix the issue. The coyle was also replaced

the ignition coil could be the problem, another thing it could be is the o2 sensor. if your bogging down all the time i would say coil, if your bogging down on hard accel could be the O2 sensor.

try taking it to an autozone had having them run a diagnostics test, sometimes the OBD2 scaner will pull better codes

more

"Note- Many possible problems cause this code. go step by step to solve this. Will also depend on your other codes if any. This code can cause cel to flash if misfire is not intermittent. An OBD-II scan tool can tell you which cylinders are missing (or keep reading for a trick)

First determine If misfire is fuel or spark related. Check for spark by removing spark plug and with it touching a grounded surface have assistant crank engine. If there is no spark check plugs, wires, voltage at coil, green wire with orange strip to pcm. Last resort coil-pack and pcm."

thanks everyone for the help. Got it hooked up to a computer and found out that the injector for the fuel is a little clogged
